pretentious much?

ah... artists...! (:

Joseph Pelling's film Outside The Box is a hilarious caricature of the creative mind–pompous, pretentious, and always enthused by its own inspiration. Outside The Box was winner of the 2009 Digital Artist Awards animation category.

Happy Holidayz from Me, Jason Mraz & The Voices of Prayze. We we wish you a very, Merry Christmas, Peace on Earth in this bright New Decade, and Equality for All. We encourage you to give generously this season and to not let money determine the value of the gift nor the ways of your gifting. Giving thanks to those who've contributed the most to your life is a superb gift. But the best gift yet is to offer or ask for forgiveness wherever you see it needed in your family or community. This is real "presence." That is real love. And may all your dreams come true.

Educación Poética #11

para ti, mi relleno fresquito de arepa...

Venezuela

La gloria como atavío,

de araguaney, la ternura,

abre un rosal la cintura

y su garganta es un río.

La viste un cielo bravío

de vivo azul transparente.

La mano resplandeciente

de libertarios manojos.

De Catatumbos los ojos,

de Mar Caribe la frente.

La bruma arriba desvela

sus avileños fulgores,

y cinta de tres colores

sobre los rizos le vuela.

Se cubre la piel canela

con fino encaje de brisa.

Su heroica raza mestiza

causa en América asombro.

De cordilleras el hombro,

de frailejón la sonrisa.

De medanales el cuello

y de Amazonas el talle,

la dulce Virgen del Valle

le pone lindo el cabello;

y en luminoso destello,

Delta Amacuro en la mano,

hace que el cielo lejano

sobre el Atlántico vuelva.

Tiene latidos de selva,

tiene pulmones de llano.

El sol lo lleva tatuado

sobre bandera y escudo.

Brasil le tiende el saludo,

Colombia besa el costado.

Alzó la fe del pasado

bajo consignas ductoras;

aman sus tierras sonoras

la libertad y el derecho,

y tiene luz en el pecho

¡condecorado de auroras!

Things you have to know in order to enjoy this:

1. Sarah Silverman is one of the best female comedians ever.
2. She has a real life boyfriend call Jimmy Kimmel, whom is a famous talk-show host.
3. The first video is Sarah Silverman's hilarious "present" to boyfriend Jimmy Kimmel. Hilarious!
4. The second video is Jimmy Kimmel's reply or "prompt".. (and PLEASE wait till the end)...

A lot has been said lately about the mysteries of the paranormal activity.... In the early years of my youth | :o) | I used to play a variation of the Ouija board with a cup and a couple of paper letters... it used to work somehow, yet evidence says this events are all a product of our own over-productive minds... well, just in case, now I'll entertain thee with a video of How to use a Ouija board.... bewareeeeeee MUAHAHAHA!!

AFI's 100 Years, 100 Movies Quotes (video)

My personal all-time favorite:

"Frankly, my dear, I don’t give a damn."

The day reviewed.

Today has been a very long day and yet it's not even seven o'clock in the afternoon.

I left early this morning for a meeting with a lawyer that believes his head is bigger than the whole wide universe, which frankly almost make me slapped the living hell out of him... yet, the lady I'm, stayed calm, mostly, and survived.

THEN, after 4 coffees and no substance whatsoever, the always sweet Guiduxa shared with me a fine late lunch at the beach. It was sunny and it was beautiful. (Sorry about the photos, they are the best I can do at the moment since my beloved camera is practically dead.. *fans herself dramatically* ... oh, I can not talk about it, I feel sad... I'm a little faklempt..)

THEN I went on a little tiny bit of retail therapy and went to work afterwards... before arriving home again to catch the sunset. I missed winter sunsets....

Oh, but you want to know what the best part was? A person - which I prefer not to mention because I don't want people to go and virtually molest him - from design tavern shared with me a Google Wave invitation, which if you don't know it yet are as valuable as gold right now!

It makes me happy when people are unexpectedly kind.

It has been a good day after all... so I can forget the lawward I had to endure this morning, or how cold it was at 7am, or the people that drives like crazy on the streets....

I'll leave you now with some eye candy... not of that kind, you pervs! :)

Recap

A lot has happened in the last 10 years. The first decade of the 21st century.

guitarradas

PERO encontré este vídeo relacionado, QUE ME ENCANTÓ: Moby - Pale Horses (Live on 89.3 The Current).

"To Where You Are" -- Josh Groban

É com muito respeito e carinho que neste momento partilho convosco esta música de Josh Groban, cuja letra sei vos poderá falar num tom adequado hoje. Eu sinto por vocês e com vocês. Um beijo e um abraço.

Who can say for certain
Maybe you're still here
I feel you all around me
Your memory, so clear

Deep in the stillness
I can hear you speak
You're still an inspiration
Can it be (?)
That you are mine
Forever love
And you are watching over me from up above

Fly me up to where you are
Beyond the distant star
I wish upon tonight
To see you smile
If only for awhile to know you're there
A breath away not far
To where you are

Are you gently sleeping
Here inside my dream
And isn't faith believing
All power can't be seen

As my heart holds you
Just one beat away
I cherish all you gave me everyday
'Cause you are my
Forever love
Watching me from up above

And I believe
That angels breathe
And that love will live on and never leave

Fly me up
To where you are
Beyond the distant star
I wish upon tonight
To see you smile
If only for awhile
To know you're there
A breath away not far
To where you are

I know you're there
A breath away not far
To where you are

open your eyes
